Originally from Gower Edward moved back to the region in 2014 having spent nearly 11 years living and working in France.

 

Having finished renovating their 19th century farmhouse (www.maisonbeauregard.com)  Edward saw a niche in the market for a reliable and trustworthy chimney sweep. Chimney sweeping is an insurance requirement in France and as nearly everyone has a chimney Edward was amazed that it was difficult to find a good reliable sweep able to issue a “Certificate de Ramonage” or chimney sweeping insurance certificate.

 

Edward trained with the Institute of Chimney Sweeps in 2008 and before he knew it had built up a fantastic and loyal client base. This soon led to the opening of his stove shop selling and installing Jotul & Charnwood wood burning stoves. Edward is lucky that he can still visit France at various points of the year to continue to service his loyal French client base but having as a family decided to relocate back to their roots on Gower this offers a new and exciting challenge to build up a successful new business here in Wales.
